Peaches and Cream Overnight Oats with Cinnamon Apples Slices
The inspiration
Oats, dry, rolled 2 pound 4 ounces
Dannon® Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt6.25 quarts
Milk, 1%6.5 cups
Cinnamon, ground 1 tablespoon
Peaches, drained, canned, diced 2 #10 cans
Apples, fresh6 pounds
Cinnamon, ground½ cup
Horizon Organic® Low Fat Aseptic Milk, 8 oz50 each
The Technique
1. In a large bowl, combine oats, yogurt and milk.
2. Stir in cinnamon.
3. Add ¼ cup of peaches to bottom of cup.
4. Top with 6 ounces of oat mixture.
5. Top with another ¼ cup diced peaches.
6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
7. Serve cold.

8. For apples: slice apples. In a large container, toss apple sliced with cinnamon.

Recipe notes:
- Encourage students to make it a complete and delicious meal by dipping cinnamon apples in overnight oats!
- Sprinkle with a small amount of cinnamon for added garnish.
- To prevent apples from browning, fill a container with 1 gallon of cold water and add ½ teaspoon of salt. Stir to dissolve salt. After slicing apples, dip apples in water mixture for at least 1 minute. This will prevent apples from browning for up to 4 days.
